Pyropoetische Parkmusik

Für das Ensemble L´Art pour L´Art in der Besetzung Flöte, Klarinette, Trompete, elektrische Gitarre, Schlagzeug, eine lokale Blaskapelle und dezentes Feuerwerk

Für die Musik dieses Freiluftprojektes spielen Klang, Farbe und Gestalt verschiedener Feuerwerkskörper eine Rolle, was bedeutet, dass der Einsatz der jeweiligen pyrotechnischen Effekte partiturgebunden ist. Der Zuschauer erlebt nun in einem etwa einstündigen Wandelkonzert durch einen Park eine Synthese von Feuerwerk und Musik. Über lange Strecken des Abends sind nur Effekte zu sehen, die man mehr aus der Bühnenpyrotechnik kennt. Man erlebt blitzartige Ausschnittsbeleuchtungen, Rauchentwicklungen und ähnliches. Erst zum Finale gibt es ein kurzes Höhenfeuerwerk und dann kommt auch die lokale Blaskapelle zum Einsatz.

Dieses Projekt ist ursprünglich für den Hermannshof bei Hannover konzipiert worden und ist aber sehr gut auf andere Parksituationen zu übertragen.

Pyropoetical Parkmusic

This piece is written for the ensemble L´Art pour L´Art (flute, clarinet, trumpet, electric guitar with electric bass, percussion, local brassband and discreet fireworks).

This music deals with sounds, colours and shapes of pyrotechnical effects, which means that even the sequence of the chosen fireworks is fixed in the score. The spectator sees by walking for one hour in a park, a synthesis of fireworks and music. Most pyroeffects are from the stage, which means they are used to give light for a short time to a tree, the ground, a stone etc. There is for example a long passage, where only lighted smoke is to be seen. Towards the end, one can see for three minutes, what we usual know as fireworks, and in the middle of that, the local brassband is starting its performance.

This project was composed for a park near Hannover, but it is easy to transform it to other situations.
